COMING SOON - The Truth About High End Hotels

Excerpt: The truth about High End Hotels!

Cocaine has many short term and long term health effects. Cocaine can be snorted, injected and depending on how you use it smoked. Many people believe that Cocaine is a drug that someone can’t use once and never again. The drug is allegedly very very addictive. One hit of Cocaine will leave you wanting more. As stated in previous chapters Michelle De La Cruz was allegedly fired from the Delano Miami Beach for Cocaine use.  It is said that Cocaine makes you very paranoid. According to a manager that worked with Michelle De La Cruz at the Delano, Michelle was extremely paranoid. After she was fired, this manager said that” the fact that she was fired for Cocaine use explains a lot”.

Delano Hotel Assistant Spa Director Michelle De La Cruz fired for COCAINE use!

Michelle De La Cruz was the previous Assistant Spa Director of Delano at Morgan’s Hotel Group. Employed at the Delano for over 12 years, I would have never believed that she was a cocaine user. According to a Mondrian South Beach Manager, Michelle was fired after failing to pass a mandatory workers comp drug test. The Morgan’s Hotel Group Manager that confirmed this information told his employees that when he heard of the news he contacted Michelle’s manager to confirm this information. The moral of this story don’t apply for workers comp if you’re using Cocaine, everyone knows that anyone who submits a worker’s comp claim must take a mandatory drug test.

Employees of Mondrian South Beach were given instructions by Manager on how to reuse sheets.

Let’s face it at busy hotels things run out. However whenever I go to a spa I never question the cleanness of the sheets, especially when having a treatment in a high end hotel. But at the Mondrian South Beach this is not the case. On several occasions the hotel has ran out of sheets. When this happens employees are given instructions by Managers on how to reuse sheets in a way that the hotel guest does not notice. The instructions and details are actually quite humorous. The moral of this story don’t assume when you go to the Mondrian South Beach that the sheets are clean.

Mondrian South Beach Hotel guest takes shower while standing in Sewage!!

Yes, I know it sounds crazy but it’s true.  A Mondrian South Beach hotel guest took a shower while standing in sewage. The hotel guest of course was unaware that she was standing in sewage. Apparently she assumed that the guest before her had a mud wrap treatment and the contents on the floor were from that treatment. Sadly for this guest Mondrian does not offer Mud wraps and it was actually sewage that backed up into the shower. Of course the guest that had the sewage shower was never told otherwise. The moral of this story, do not assume!

An applicant to the Mondrian South Beach Hotel drug test results were leaked maliciously by manager.

In today’s world I understand the need for pre-employment drug test. A drug free workplace benefits not only the employer but employees as well. A productive and healthy workforce is beneficial for all parties involved. Thus in such whenever I am asked to take a drug test for a job I am never shocked or offended. However, I do expect the results to be confidential. Confidentiality of drug test results apparently is not important to the Mondrian South Beach. The witnessing of a Manager telling his employees that an applicant failed his drug test was shocking. This manager, who said Mondrian’s HR department confirmed this fact, also mentioned he was happy this applicant failed. The moral of this story, just because a company says that something is confidential doesn’t mean that it is.
